Corporate Espionage Exposed
The CEO of an International Cape Town based company noticed discreet company decisions was leaked to social media before his company's board approval could be obtained. Suspecting that his offices could be 'bugged' he contacted NiB (National Investigations Bureau) for assistance.
NiB staff installed equipment to monitor all areas the CEO accessed and arranged for an extensive de-bugging 'sweep' of company headquarters.
Apon discovering several 'listening devices' (see attached photographs) the NiB team further obtained video evidence of an unauthorized entry into the company’s facility and the perpetrator once again installing several small eavesdropping devices.
With the evidence uncovered the company was able to bring legal charges against an opposition company (and individuals) thereby saving the company millions of rand in future damages.
